About McCain

Alexandra graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2015, where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree, and is a Texas Board Certified and licensed Physical Therapist.

Alexandra grew up in Sulphur, LA where she participated in varsity softball, volleyball, and basketball at Sulphur High School, which originally sparked her interest in orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation. Since becoming a licensed Physical Therapist, she has made her career focused toward becoming a leader in the orthopedic and sports medicine community.

Alexandra has valuable experience and has been successful with treating patients with a variety of orthopedic diagnoses. She believes that educating patients and constructing individualized, patient-specific treatment plans are the key to providing the best patient care and results in superior outcomes. Her clinical interests include treating musculoskeletal pain of the spine and extremities, pre- and post-operative pain, sports-related injuries, chronic pain, vestibular disorders, and gait and balance impairments.

Outside of the clinic, Alexandra loves to run and exercise, travel, cook, and spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoys supporting the Houston sports teams, attending Houston Rockets, Astros, and Dynamo games whenever she gets the chance.
